The highlights on this segment has to be the one and only appearance on the show of The Vibrators and another look at the beautiful Faye Fife.Theres more than one way to skin a cat but alas I have had to use megaupload due to winrar being so moody. So again this an avi file not wrapped up. It might take longer to download but at least there won't be any errors.

First off thank you for posting these wonderful Top Of The Pops videos. They are a welcomed addition to my collection. Secondly, thanks for having this great blog and all the wonderful tunes you post here. I know it takes a lot of time and effort to create/scan/edit/upload all this stuff and it is very much appreciated. (I have made 35 videos of rare stuff of different artists/groups that I posted to youtube, just so I could share those rarities with other fans, so I know what it is like to take the time and effort to create something like you are doing with these Top Of The Pop videos.) So I feel bad in telling you that after downloading part 8, I am getting a corrupt file message. I downloaded each file twice and got the corrupt file message both times. Just wanted you to know. Thanks again for all you do for us fans.

Is it me or is Automatic Lover and She's so Modern a different verison to the the single?
On Automatic Lover its the same but the vocals sound slighty different to me (Knox singing over them with a cold) People forget the 7'' is different from the one on V2 too.
As for the Rats,fuck knows!

Wow. I never saw the Rezillos on TOTP, but I'm getting a time machine to go back in time and meet her. Good looking, mad and great fun. Woo hoo! Of course The Rezillos also featured Jo Callis who went on to join The Human League and co-write number 1 singles and albums...

A lot of the time the band didn't always do a straight mime on TOTP's sometime thay rerecorded the whole take PiL's "Death Disco" being an example and other time a new vocal was laid down over a backing track. Cheers again mate.
