Loveit!! The sourfaced bitter immoral cunt of the highest order, who is soon to feel the wrath of all that is SKY BLUE!!
The worm is turning and all the plastic daytrippers will not know where to go for their next bandwagon to jump on.

yes, whenever i can afford it or i'm not under a foot of snow (tomorrows game looks unlikely at the moment), by the way i am a mancunian as if that actually matters. still you didn't answer the question so that speaks volumes

The answer as we all know is 1976.
But what is more relevant is the fact that Ferguson is losing his mind and we are getting stronger and stronger and NOT in Debt unlike you poor delude rags.

What it must be Trevor to see the future so clearly, to have an insight into the great mans mind, but you need to keep an eye on the present.

City debt free? Another deluded part-time City fan me thinks. If you'd bothered to look at your own clubs latest figures (instead of being pre-occupied with Utd), you'd see that City's debt is up 287% to almost £100M. This not taking account of your summer signings (another £150M). Mmm - quite impressive for such a 'massive' club.

In defence of Trevor,I can assure you he is indeed a Manchester City old boy from Manchester. If you read this site very closely you'll know this for certain.

And in defence of both Mullers and AJ,from the converations I've had on here,I believe they are both Mancs too. Unfortunately they both support Utd :-)

Now as a Chelsea fan Mullers,I can understand Trevors excitement at the moment as we are the only club to have had a similar sugar daddy. Slightly different circumstances for us but I'm not going to knock it. We went from 1971 to 1997 without winning a major trophy and although that isn't as long as Citeh,it was long enough and although we were well ahead of where Ciheh were when we got brought by the Russian in 2003,don't be surprised if they start trophys anytime soon and that "34" in the Stretford End goes down to "0". Money does buy success (unless you support Newcastle United) and if any fans deserve some success then its Citeh's. Good luck to them I say. I don't expect Man Utd fans to feel the same way of course!

Thank you very much Longy.
Indeed I am NOT a "part timer" as Worried from Stretford says,I have been a regular since 1968 the year we won the league,my Dad started going in the 1930s and was part of the record crowd for an English club match 84,000 against Stoke,My two brothers and Sister hvae also been season ticket holders for 40 years so I think We desrve our time of glory.

One last comment!!
In regards to our finances, our owner has written off our debts so , as from now we are well and truly in the black, meanwhile, back in the states(to quote a New York Dolls lyric) the glazers have saddled you with billions of pounds worth of debt.

Evewn I laughed at the picture - brillaint.

I even showed it to a Liverpool fan, who was then going to send it to other Liverpool fans, and then he saw your Liverpool wristband. Lol.

i don't think city deserve their time of glory but then i wouldn't would i. Given everyone here seems to be a mancunian we could have this argument/debate/fight (delete as applicable) in our own fair city, we'd probably win that as well!!!

Why has nobody mentioned sundays result?, it's all quiet on the wrong side of the pennines innit?

Longy said...

I said in pictures anon lol. As a Chelsea fan I f'kin hate Leeds of course but that result was funny. I better not say too much as I wouldn't want to upset my friends here of the red varity and in case no-one has noticed, there is still a Ferguson to get rid of in Round 4.

what happened on sunday? i seem to have suffered a bough of amnesia for all of sunday afternoon, something horrific and disturbing must have happened

Like AJ says don't really understand this notion of deserving glory. Is it because City haven't been very good for a long time; or because they're now the richest club in the world.

Either way deserving success should be down to the application of talent, desire and hard work. That's the reason for Utd's success - little of which City have shown for a long time.

Remains to be seen whether or not having all the money in the world is sufficient to deliver City success. My guess would be with the right manager - yes, but there again it would be just like City to fuck it all up.

As far as Utd are concerned - we're skint and are hanging in by the skin of our teeth. So long as Sir Alex is around I am confident given the reasons outlined above that we'll be fighting it out with you guys - after that who knows?

Longy said...

Unless you've really suffered as a football fan which if your a Utd fan,you haven't until as long ago as 1974,then you'll never really understand mullers me ole mucker. You suffering is losing the odd cup final or coming 2nd in the League which is not really suffering at all is it?

Your neighbours on the other hand have suffered as a football club big time. How many times have they been relegated? They've even been in the old division three. So much upheaval which is unmatched by any other big club (Leeds and Newcastle don't even come close but they are the closest I suppose and up to 97' Chelsea were in that same bracket) Only when you've really suffered years of fuckallness and misery, will you understand. Those long suffering fans deserve their success, just like ours did. Like Chelsea, everyone will turn on Citeh and say "they brought it" when they do win something but I can tell you from my experience that those Citeh fans won't give a flying fuck what people say. And good luck to them I say.

Longy, as you can imagine I will refrain from agreeing with you on this one.

Incidentally, I have served my penance having seen countless false dawns since '71 when I first started going with my Dad. As the old adage goes you don't choose your footie club - it chooses you for better or for worse. Lets hope we get some footie this weekend - trip to Birmingham which, given our lack of fit defenders I am not too confident about.

Anyway probably best to draw a line under this and wish you a Happy New Year. Thanks again for Punk Friction - its great.

I wouldn't expect you to agree with me Mullers. Just giving you an alternative sense of perpective on things (a Chelsea one!) Now as I'm such a good bloke I've got a present for both Utd and Citeh fans which I'll post right here in these comments due to copyright issues.
