I think this was on Channel 4 around 2001 but I don't know exactly to be honest. I found it on an old tape I had lurking about. A 50 minute docu on one of the most important bands of the 80's and some would say,pioneers of a whole generation of music. Theres no doubt to most in the know that the mixture of Joey Santiago's manic guitars,David Lovering's crushing drums,Kim Deal's wonderful meandering basslines and Black Francis's,screeching vocals make for a very special cocktail of a band indeed. Theres some great live footage on here as well as plenty of opinions from people some of you would of heard of as well as the band themselves. If you liked this band you'd be a fool not to grab this one. Ripped from glorious old VHS with all the Channel 4 commericals carefully removed. 479mb. Join with HJ-Split.Linkage

thanks Longy. actually, that was the one I was looking for. my friend had a VCD of that Rockpalast gig but he misplaced it he's been looking for it for like two months now. he saw the cover but the disc were nowhere to be found. again thanks, am looking forward for that post. more power!
