Continuing with letter "R" this was Raped's 2nd and last single before they changed their name to the Cuddly Toys. I would class Raped as a glam/smut/shock kind of band. With a name like Raped they were bound to shock,their dress was outrageously glam and the lyrics were indeed smut (Foreplay Playground) Their 1st single Pretty Paedophiles EP (more shock!) was better than this one and can be found over at Gary's blog Always Searching For Music: Raped - Pretty Paedophiles E.P.I have also included the insert which has a "Win A Free Night Out With Raped" competition. I never did fill mine out and enter!

I really liked their first two singles (the first one the most. I remember when my mum heard foreplay playground and she came in my bedroom and said this is disgusting. I guess the lyrics "my baby's got a hard on for me" were maybe a little strong for the older generation.
I was pushing my luck playing Never Mind The Bollocks Gary. My old man in particular hated Punk with a passion. Stuff like this one,The Pork Dukes (Telephone Masturbator) and Electric Chairs (Fuck Off)got played on the headphones.
