Chelsea FC - No One Can Stop Us Now CD Single (1994)

Football - don't you just love it? Better known as "Soccer" to our friends across the pond but trust me, its FOOTBALL okay? Yesterday I went through so many emotions in 94 minutes and we were only playing bloody Stoke City.

Frustration (John Terry getting injured in the pre-match warm up)
Sadness (hearing Joe Cole will be out for the rest of the season)
Fear (watching my pitiful team trying to defend a throw-in/corner)
Grief (watching my season go down to pan)
Rage (watching Malouda in a Chelsea shirt)
Devestation (watching Rory Delap actually score with his feet)
Irritation (Listening to bloody "Deliaha" over and over again)
More frustration (watching us miss chance after chance after chance)
Acceptance (realising, yet again it wasnt going to be your day)
Anger (Watching a John Mikel Obi shot nearly kill someone in the Shed Upper)
Happiness (Seeing Malouda get substituted at last)
Elation (Juliano Belletti's 88th minute equaliser)
Damn Right Jubilation (Frank Lampards 93rd minute winner)
Relief (We got out of jail and grabbed victory from the jaws of defeat)

Its only a game right? No it fucking isn't! Its a part of my life and when we win, I'm one happy bastard. And when we don't, trust me,I'm one miserable one. Yesterday had it all and is the reason I absolutely love, and always have loved football.

And todays solitary post is Chelsea's 1994 FA Cup song final song. It was our first major final for 22 years and the team celebrated by going "into the studio" to record this awful ditty. They then went on to lose the FA Cup final 4 bloody nil to Manchester United. Thats Chelsea FC for you!

You're not alone in your feelings for your team. I think alot of us can understand the feelings of winning and losing!

True Ken. I see your Hammers won today. Mr Zola is doing pretty well considering his a novice at management. He will come home where he belongs eventually though!

Yep! I saw that too. Caught the first 30 minutes today, and then some Everton fans made the manager change to their match.

you see, when you grow up rooting for a team, you have an emotional attatchment. Actually pretty easy to understand, though my wife doesn't

Unfortunately, its more than an emotional attachment for me. Its an extremely expensive addiction.
