Fairport Convention - What We Did On Our Holidays (1969)

Just in case you still thought this was purely a punk blog, have some Fairport Convention. For all those people (and theres a few) that download EVERYTHING from here despite what it is,be warned, this is what you might call "hippy-shit" I'm really getting into these at the moment, especially the first 4 albums. Don't complain or you'll get some Roy Harper next time! Don't be a one trick pony - take a chance on something different for a change and expand your ears.

Tracks

01) Fotheringay
02) Mr. Lacey
03) Book Song
04) The Lord Is In This Place
05) No Man's Land
06) I'll Keep It With Me
07) Eastern Rain
08) Nottamun Town
09) Tale In Hard Time
10) She Moves Through The Fair
11) Meet On The Ledge
12) End Of A Holiday

Bloody great album. And a couple of years prior to this Fairport guitarist Richard Thompson used to play in a band with a very pre-Stranglers Hugh Cornwell, so there's a tenous punk connection for you! W.

More diversity, I like your style. Perhaps so rockabilly or NWOBHM stuff, eh!
