Generation X - Fridays Angels 7'' (1979)

The 6th single from Generation X. This came in red vinyl and compared to their previous 5 singles wasn't as good in my most humble one. I definately prefer the B sides here especially Trying For Kicks. No doubt about it though,in their prime Generation X were a great band and top musicians.

Tracks

1) Fridays Angels
2) Trying For Kicks
3) This Heat

Best wishes again from a country close to Santa.......

Yeah, for Gen X this was something of a weak offering. The b side however was very good. Trying For Kicks and This Heat (Originally called London Life) were both very early Gen X songs. I always felt they should have put the classic Generation X sounding Trying For Kicks on the first album.

My favourite Punk band.

Indeed Ken. Day By Day,No No No and Gimme Some Truth are amongst the best Gen X tracks.
