A Sham 69 without Jimmy Pursey was at first about unpopular as a Thierry Henry in a Dublin pub and unthinkable to most including me. I saw for myself eariler in the year that its very thinkable indeed and they were great live with new vocalist Tim who's only problem as far as I was concerned was that he is a Millwall fan (and I did mention it to him...jokingly of course) But hey nobody's perfect and his voice suits the band perfectly with his genuine East London roots and Cockney accect.Sham are currently on tour and new album Last Gang In London (also the name of the tour) will be hitting all your favourite record shops soon. The band are now getting some very good reviews and deserveably so.
This gig from 2007 in Las Vegas wasn't overpopulated and the crowd wern't exactly the most enthusiastic but this was early days for "new" Sham but its a bloody good set and should not be ignored. And if it is then its your loss,not mine!

I'm glad you liked it gonk. I must admit they were better when I saw a couple of months back though (then again I would say that!)
seen the damned and motorhead in darlo last friday, was good, my mate went to watch arsenal yesterday and sat beside johnny rotten lol, gonk
