The Stranglers - Big In America 7'' (1986)

One of the forgotton Stranglers singles. This one was from the Dreamtime album ala '86. Not one of their better ones but none their stuff on the Epic label was amongst their better songs in my humble opinion. Its still a damn sight better than all that shyte in the charts at the moment

Tracks

1) Big In America
2) Dry Day

I just stumbled upon your blog. You are a genius! What great stuff you are sharing.
Is it possile to re-up the Dave Greenfield/J.J. Burnel disc? Do you also have access to the L.P. from which it came?

Keep up the fight.

Hi Johnny. Thanks for your comment. I've done the single and I'll try and do the album later although I think I've only got a poor bitrate version on here (I'm watching football on the computer for the next few hours) I'm sure someone blogged it not long ago over on my list....somewhere!

Dreamtime has a few good moments ie Always The Sun...would take this era of The Stranglers over the crap that was coming out during this time any day. Nice Longy!
