Cockney Rejects - Bad Man 7'' (1980)

The third single by the Cockney Rejects. A little bit of Longy history here. The Rejects only played here once back in 1980 at Clones in Plymouth and this was the last time I didn't get in at a gig due to my age. I was gutted and it was only a pound to get in too. Luckily Stiff Little Fingers were also playing here that very same night over at the Poly so I coughed up £2.50 and went and saw them instead. I gave this picture cover to my sister (who did get in) to get signed and she got 50% of the Rejects (Stinky and Micky's) and for some reason the drummer of the Kidz Next Door who were supporting signed it as well.

Tracks

1) Bad Man
2) The New Song

Nice story Longy. That tour must have been when Mick got nicked for GBH with one of they guys from Kidz Next Door. They had their equipment stolen if I remember correctly. Nice single! Nothing beats their first two albums. Pure bliss!!!!!

Great posts indeed! - this was the first Rejects single I purchased all those years ago, and I confess to preferring the B-side....always a sucker for fast, shouty, raucous punk-rock!

Glad you like it chaps.

Ken I don't remember that incident unless you are talking about the Birmingham gig where it all kicked off with the locals and the ICF. I remember that because it was all over the music press.
