It's King and Country for me longy, but their best in my eyes and ear has got to be the Painted Word album, a master piece.
Always had a fondness for "I Know Where Syd Barret Lives" but Nuzz is bang on with "The Painted Word" it's class.
Now a request if I may be so bold some years ago I used to own a 7" single by a band called The Sex Beatles called "Well You Never" which allegedly has some Robyn Hitchcock involvement...Do you have a copy? or maybe someone else who visits here may have it. If anyone does I would be eternally grateful. Cheers
I love The Painted World as well. I always remember it being on the that SHELTER compilation video and thinking it was the best thing on it.
