Inspired by Sarah's posting over the excellent http://rbkwh.blogspot.com/ here is another single by The Crack. The band won a Battle Of The Bands competition back in '82 which was on National TV and was apparently judged by Noddy Holder. I don't remember seeing it myself.....does anyone? Anyway this 7'' was taken from the V/A Battle Of The Bands Vol 2 album and was also on the later In Search Of The Crack album. The B side was on neither.Tracks

Great stuff! This early version of "Don't You Ever Let Me Down" is better than the one featuring on their LP.
Still the LP is a classic! Earlier they sounded more like 999 and later more like Slade... they sounded great anyway!!!
