Well as I'm off to see Sham tonight in Plymouth,a Sham post seemed appropriate. This was their cover version of The Yardbirds You're A Better Man Than I and in my opinion,a great cover it is too. The back of the picture sleeve is signed by all of the band too. Its hardly a Borstal Breakout is it? Any street cred left = out the window!I'll be in Reading tomorrow watching this seasons English Premier League Champions so they'll be no posts.

Speaking of strange Sham 69 TV appearances. The last time I recall seeing JP and the boys live on the box was doing Kids Are United on Newsnight a couple of years ago. Jimmy was wearing a huge plaster over the top of one eye (??). Its on YouTube if you wanna have a look. Sadly Jimmy’s amusing pre -song chat with a slightly uncomfortable Kirsty Wark is not included.

I missed it when it was on TV Kes but I've seen it since on one the BBC website pages. I don't suppose its still up there now.
