Girl power today with all female metalheads Girlschool's brilliant version of Gun's Race With The Devil. Better than the original in my humble opinion. The B side was actually the bands first single but whether this is the same version,I'm not too sure as I don't own it.Girlschool have a brand new album out now entitled "Legacy" which is a tribute to late band member Kelly Johnson. The world is a poorer place without her.

The first single is awesome--more punk-sounding that metal. I think GoodBadMusic blog put it up a while back. This band was great--totally underrated.

A good comeback I admit arstider but theres only one team worse at penaltys than the England national team in the whole world and thats Chelsea!
A good cover version this is, and yes the b-side is a different 'take' from heir first single...this one is better, more polished and better produced.
I think Judas Priest also covered Race With the Devil and Girlschool's version wipes the floor with Priests in my opinion.
Should be a good gig with The Damned and Motorhead!
