Amebix - Who's The Enemy EP 7'' (1982)

Hailing from Tavistock, just a short car journey (or a long bus ride) up the road from me,this is Amebix's first single. I expect they must of played in Plymouth at some point early in their career but I'm damned if I ever saw them. Maybe I did but just can't remember but alas I don't think so. I think they all moved up to Bristol before this release but the memory is hazy so I might not be right. This is the only record of theirs I own and needless to say you can tell its mine when you listen to it : - ) I'm aware this has been blogged a few times but I felt like playing it so I ripped it at the same time just for the pure hell of it.

Tracks

1) Carnage
2) Curfew
3) Belief
4) No Gods No Masters

And a genre was born! gotta love the Amebix. This is what happens when you listen to too much Killing Joke & Motorhead and drink too much cider.
This is what it sounds like in my head most of the day. Kinda of like Tinitus. always there.
