Gotta be honest, I did'nt like this single when I first heard it. Still not one of my favourite SOD tracks til this day. Was'nt til I heard the 'The Wheel' and the rest of the 'Grapes Of Wrath' (i own 4 copies of this LP, why?) album that I fell hook line.
Good result for your boys tonite. I had to watch the Scousers destroy Real (not my personal preference, but entertaining seeing Ramos with a face like a slapped arse for 90 mins.)
Saw your comments on another site somewhere, recomend that 'Chubby Chris' book if you can get hold of a copy. The Hickey one aint bad either. I've got most of Colin Ward's stuff as it goes.

Morning John. I agree,the Wheel is better but I have always liked this one too.
If the Scousers destroyed Real Madrid like they did then it proves how weak the rest of Europe has become. Hopefully Jose will do the business tonight but I can't see it. Yes our boys did well but it was looking dodgy for a while especially in the first half.
I wasn't really recommending Chris's book - not really into then to be honest mate - just trying to educate the fellow blogger into thinking he was no angel(which he wasn't) The best Chelsea book by a million miles is "Celery! - representing Chelsea in the 80's" by Kelvin Barker. Not a hoolie-book as such but a brilliant read from my favourite football watching period. One of the best £9.99's I've ever spent.
