Motorhead - The One To Sing The Blues 12'' EP (1990)

If theres one band the Punks always accepted it has to be Motorhead. Even the most narrow-minded Mohawk would have a good old pogo to Lemmy & co. Well this one isn't particulary good for them and not up to the standard of their eariler stuff on the Bronze label (in my opinion) Having said that, its still good because its Motorhead! Why they ever wondered onto the Epic label is beyond me.

I uploaded this because I can't see it about on any blogs and because the band are worthy of being here. Luckily they are still going and the last album (Motorizer) was great. I once stood by Lemmy's amp for a whole Motorhead gig with a mate in an endurance test. We both passed with flying colours but I was mutton for a few days afterwards. Not recommended. Funny enough, Motorhead were not the loudest band I ever saw. That title goes to Therapy? who were absolutely deafening. Who were the loudest band you ever saw then?

Tracks

1) The Song To Sing The Blues
2) Dead Man's Hand
3) Eagle Rock
4) Shut You Down

Nice one Longy. I will download this pronto. Just saw them last Oct. or so with a bunch of bands I shall not mention. Motorhead were amazing as always. Saw them in '82 or so with the guitarest from Thin Lizzy playing (Another Perfect Day?) and they were the loudest thing I have eaver heard by far!

Oh yeah! I will fess up. I got a free ticket from one of my friends and since I had nothing to do and the fact that Motorhead was on the bill I went. It was Testament, Heaven and Hell (Ronnie James Dio with Sabbath), and Judas Priest who I actually thought was quite good. I spent most of the time in the boozer section drinking beer after Motorhead. Could not be bothered with knomes and fairies and midget lead singers in spandex.

lol I dunno about Testament but I must admit I like some of Judas Priest's music (despite the clobber they wear)

Priest were great. Dio led Sabbath was downright dire
