Oasis - Wibbling Rivalry 7'' (1995)

You can say what you like about Oasis......the truth is,they've made some great tunes over the years whether you like them or not. In 1995 along with Blur, they were ruling the waves here in England. This wasn't one of their hits from that year (surprise suprise) This was also released as a CD single also on the Fierce Panda (who?) record label. Don't listen to this one in front of your kids. It does what it says on the tin. Two brothers, lots of alcohol, two big egos and a tape recorder = Wibbling Rivalry!

Tracks

1) Noel Side (A Lot Of Swearing And Cussing)
2) Liam Side (Even More Swearing And Cussing)

Love the Noel side despite the hammers getting a slagging.

Whoa! Dang!

This is almost as good as the Murry Wilson tapes, where he tells his boys (The Beach Boys) what screw-ups they are.

Just sayin'.

I must say that I almost was in shock when I saw Oasis in your list. But as you say, they did a really good tracks before they enter into the commercial world. (I must confess that I like their first albums...) I have a set of rarities of them (I can't remember where I found it) and some tracks are very good! At first sight they sounds like some sort of early Stone Roses songs.

Cheers

I like a bit of diversity englishfog. I loved the first Oasis album too......didn't mind the second one either especially Champagne Supernova.

PS I've been over to your blog englisfog and I can't figure out how to leave a comment for some reason. I'm glad you like the Lorries too :-)

what?..I didn't notice that..mmm let me fixed right now. Yeah I like The Lorries! I'm making some post-punk mixes and strange stuff to post on the blog and see what happens. I don't want to post too many CD rips or available stuff because could have some troubles (many sites have been closed lately for this reason)

Cheers
