Black vinyl?? I was looking through some geek's "wants list" recently. he was after Stranglehold. "Must be black vinyl. Top dollar paid for black ONLY"... Who'd think that those coloured vinyl Subs singles we so keenly collected in the day would be worth exactly the same as what we paid for them??!! Another rubbish 'investment'...
lol thats funny ponk! I've got a red Stranglehold. If I had a black one i'd give it away to the geek (for a few quid) Black Strangleholds were quite common from what I remember. No-one else seems to have a black Warhead though. Sayig that,you can probably get it on ebay for 50p these days.
I was speaking to Charlie Harper a while ago, well has wife mainly - turns out they're both keen ukulele and yes they can both play Warhead on the uke...

Wolfmen - that would make a good 3rd re-released version of Warhead! Charlie's Mrs is well nice. I had a good yap to her and Charlie when they were down here last year. He is a lucky man.
Henk - are you trying to sell your vinyl? Don't let the geek anywhere near ebay.....I had a look on there eariler lol You should treasure your UK Subs vinyl anyway (unless geek offers you silly money)

I have a brown 1 of this, disturbingly autographed exactly the same! Got orange CID, only black Subs I ever seen was free 12" with Crash Course. Seen them recently and have to admire Charlie Harper, he musthave been pushing 40 when i first seen Subs on stranglehold tour, they toured for evry single them days lol Gonk
I used to have that Crash Course 12''freebie but I swapped it for something I think. I also have an orange CID (at least I think its orange) They still tour more than most bands do - bless em.
Henry Rollins is completely anal about these singles!
