Some great bands hailed from Leeds (shame about the football team though eh.......na it ain't really,its bloody hilarious!) and The Wedding Present along with the likes of The Mekons,Red Lorry Yellow Yorry and The Sisters Of Mercy were amoungst the very best of them.I haven't seen this band since '89 when I saw them at the Reading Festival on the Saturday (just after Billy Bragg and before New Model Army and The Pogues) but they continue to make excellent music to this day. Long may it continue.
The highlight of this EP for me is their great cover of Steve Harley & the Cockney Rebel's Make Me Smile. Excellent stuff.
