Time Zone - World Destruction 7'' (1984)

I dismissed this at the time but after listening to it again after many years I realise what a fool I was. Featuring non other than the legend that is John Lydon and Afrika Bambaataa (who?) A blinking excellent tune. I wish I hadn't ripped this now because I keep continually playing it (both sides) This was also released on 12'' too and featured longer versions of the song.

Edit: I've just clocked the 1992 five track re-issed version of it here http://planetfurball.blogspot.com/2008/12/time-zone-world-destruction-1992.html This one has the 12'' version + more and is well worth grabbing.
Tracks

1) World Destruction
2) World Destruction

Have always loved this. Afrika Bambatta was an early rap legend in NYC and at the time I did not know who the hell he was. This song always gets me going. Political and just plain cool. I'm in a time zone, I'm in a time zone.

Check this out, Afrika Bambaataa was the first rapper to sample Kraftwerk back in the day. It was a gas here in the states to go to a party and shake booty to Bam rappin' over Trans Europe Express ("Planet Rock").
