Rich Kids - Rich Kids 7'' (1978)

And the award for the most boring picture cover of all time goes to......The Rich Kids. Luckily the song is less boring than the cover. Featuring ex Pistol legend Mr Glen Matlock and future Ultravox singer Midge Ure (who was in Slik lets not forget) This was their debut single.
Tracks

1) Rich Kids
2) Empty Words

Hahaha funny comment about the sleeve but you are forgetting that Anarchy in the U.k. came in a plain black sleeve originally so equally boring. Fucking great blog mate.

That Anarchy black sleeve doesn't count as a "picture cover" though. Its just a normal plain sleeve that happens to be black : - ) Cheers for the comment Marky

The Anarchy sleeve *was* a picture bag, in the sense that it was intentionally black. Black is the colour of International Anarchy. Red is another associated Anarchist colour, but (in this instance) also relates to Communism, as contrasted with 'rich'.

The Rich Kids were of course rich in *ideas* as the Jean Cocteau quote on the LP sleeve (wow. remember them?) alluded.

"Wealth is an inborn attitude of mind, like povery... These children had been born so rich that nothing in the way of worldly wealth could possibly have changed their lives"

Other than that, keep up the great work!

Hi craigie*

To be honest I've never heard of Jean Cocteau. Cheers for the info.
